Here is Pennsylvania like much of the midwest and northeast, we have seen record amounts of snow. Many are still without electricity, many (including us) are under mandatory water conservation. Now we see that another storm is on the way- who knows if any kids will get to school this week!

Mankind has come a long way technologically, here in the US many have so many modern conveniences that we can grow accustomed to these. It is fascinating to know, that although surrounded with so much, it takes very little to upset our society. We have certainly seen the powerful hand of God in His creation- we truly are a fragile race.

Isaiah 45:7 "I form the light and create the darkness, I bring porsperity and create disaster; I , the LORD, do all these things."

May we be reminded of the power of God these days. Although we are very powerful in our own mind, but compared to God we are but a vapor that appears for a while, and then is gone.

How comforting to know however, that God is watching over his children- all those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 3:25,26 "Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared."
