About Pastor Walker

Pastor Walker is a native of Newark DE. After graduating high school, Patrick entered the military on September 18th 2001 and served four years with the 3rd Ranger Battalion out of Ft. Benning, Georgia as an infantry sergeant. During that time, Patrick grew in his faith and felt the call of God on his life to pursue full time ministerial service.

In 2005, Patrick left the Army to attend the University of Delaware – where he co-led a college ministry on campus. It was here that he first met his future wife, Kristyn Ann Farrell and the two grew together while serving God on campus. In 2006, Patrick transferred to Liberty University as a Biblical Studies major and wrestled for Liberty’s D-I program at HWT. Kristyn and Patrick were married in August, 2007.

After completing his undergraduate degree, Patrick continued his studies at Liberty Theological Seminary before graduating with a M.Div. in 2011 and being ordained in the spring of that year. During his 6 years at Liberty, Patrick was heavily involved with several campus ministries and church plants before moving with his family to serve under the leadership of Paul Powers at Union Baptist Church in St. Johnsbury, Vt.

In Oct 2014, Patrick accepted a call to pastor Colonial Beach Baptist Church (CBBC). After serving faithfully there for several years, he and a membership team from CBBC launched LivingStone Community Church in Colonial Beach in August 2017.

Patrick and Kristyn are happily married and have seven children: Abishai, Atarah, Tirzah, Benaiah, Raynah, Ar'yel and Caleb.
